What's Happening at SercelShop?
Like most Mondays at SercelShop, today we spent plenty of time catching up on orders that came in over the weekend! There were quite a few to prepare. Previously, we have only allowed shipping to the US and Canada, but recently we decided to try allowing more international shipping. To our surprise, today we packed an order heading for South Korea! It is so exciting to see our SercelShop products traveling all over the world!
Another item that we prepared today was one of our blue engraved Hail Mary Pocket PrayerFulls carrying cases, starting from a file on the computer and ending with a finished product! This is another item that we engrave with our smaller laser.
The Hail Mary engraved card case begins with a computer file.
The file is sent to the laser and away it goes!
Once the laser has finished, water is used to clean off the residue that remains when the laser finishes. Here is the finished product! Inside, it can hold up to 7 of our cards, which is really perfect for theRosary Prayers Collection.
John also spent some time today using the larger laser to engrave one of our 10x 13" Interactive Wooden 5-Decade Rosary Board. If you haven't checked out this product yet, take a closer look! It includes interactive movable chips to count the Hail Mary's and Our Father's while you're saying the rosary.
The larger laser engraving the 10x 13" Interactive Rosary Board. For this product, the laser has not only has to engrave, but has to actually cut out the chips for the prayers.
An example of a finished Interactive Rosary Board.
More lasering! John also engraved one of our Grace Before and After Meals cutting boards today. After being engraved, many of our items need to be sanded. Here, John is sanding the cutting board to help us get that nice smooth finish.
When the dust and soot is blown off, the cutting board is finished. Perhaps this one will hang on the wall in a kitchen or dining area, where a family gathers to pray and eat!
This week includes the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, as well as the Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle! Through Tuesday July 7th, all of the Apostles keychains in our collection will be30 percentoff!!
Don't forget!Through July 4th, we will be having a 25% off sale on our America products! The code will beAMERICA250for America's 250th anniversary! Just put it in at checkout.
And, guess what? It works on the Great Seal, too! "A great deal for a Great Seal", as John says!
Don't forget to check out the cards in the our America collection too, especially the Prayer for the USA!
